Workshops and Seminars

Catherine Rategan speaks before groups and teaches writing.  As co-founder of the Independent Writers of Chicago (IWOC) and then as president of the Chicago Chapter of the Media Communications Assn.-International (MCA-I), she conducted board meetings and chaired monthly meetings. She has also lectured about scriptwriting for the communications industry.

  • 1999 - guest taught in the series Voice-Over for Professionals designed for professional narrators
  • 1997 & 1999 - DePaul University - guest lecturer in Corporate Video Scriptwriting
  • 1998 - DePaul University - taught an Internet class session on Corporate Video Scriptwriting
  • 1996 - taught a private workshop for Jones Intercable on Writing and Evaluating Corporate Video Scripts
